Men typically find it more difficult to build social connections than women, and unlike women of a similar age, they are less likely to have networks of friends and rarely share personal concerns about their health and personal worries.
When retirement comes, it can sometimes feel like their personal identity and purpose is lost. Men’s Sheds can help change all of that.
Workshop Products
Our well equipped workshop allows us to create or repair items, many of which are for special causes in the community. Whilst space is restricted we meet 3 days a week which allows everyone to work in a safe and friendly environment.

Funding
As a registered charity we rely on the good will of the local community to help us keep Dereham Men’s Shed going. Local businesses also help with grants and donated or discounted products, including new or salvaged materials.
Members of the public are able to support us, either with initiatives such as the ones on our Support page, or simply by visiting our stand at one of a number of local events, fetes, etc.
