What Do We Do?

Dereham Men’s Shed is a place to meet up for a casual chat over a cup of tea or coffee and make new friends. It is also a place where members can share skills and knowledge and share ideas and interests.  Men’s Sheds are practical places where members can help or show others how to make or mend things, demonstrate crafts, in fact anything that you may do in your shed at the end of the garden.

  • Weekly Social Meetings

    We're all all about building friendships, reducing loneliness and having fun. We hold regular social get togethers, events and visits, in addition to our workshop groups.

  • Workshop Sessions

    Our workshop allows members the opportunity to learn new skills and share their own. Making items to sell to raise funds, or simply just working on individual craft or hobby projects is a great way to relax in the company of others.

  • Trips and Events

    We don't limit ourselves to staying in Dereham. From time to time we visit sites of interest elsewhere in Norfolk and further afield.

  • Helping Our Community

    Members regularly help out in the community helping other charities and non-profit organisations in and around Dereham. From time to time we will arrange visits to places of interest.
