Our workshop is small but well-equipped to undertake many woodworking projects.  These may be making things to sell at local fetes, etc. or repairing items for local good causes. In the past, we have made or repaired a wide range of items from small drink mats and children’s toys, to an outdoor book library which can be seen in the Queen Mother’s Garden in Dereham.

We have a good range of equipment and tools, including band saws, mitre saws, and a wood lathe, as well as smaller craft tools such as a fret saw and artists’ materials.

Dereham Men’s Shed does not run courses in the workshop but we may from time to time have a demonstration of some craft or making process. There are no additional costs to use the workshop but we do require members to undertake an induction focussing on health and safety.
